Both roast their own coffee. Both ship it fast. Only one of them tells you the date.
The short version
Atlas Coffee Club sends a new single origin from a new country every month, roasted in-house and shipped the same day it is roasted. It is a travel format: a postcard, tasting notes, a country you may not have tried. Atlas also says, in its own words, that it does not put the roast date on the bag. Wolfmilk does the opposite of rotation: the same three roasts, roasted every Wednesday, the date written by hand where you can read it.

Does Atlas Coffee Club put a roast date on the bag?
No. Atlas says on its own site that it does not print the roast date on the bag. Wolfmilk hand-dates every bag.
Is Atlas coffee fresh?
By Atlas's own account, yes: roasted the same day it ships. The difference is that you cannot check it on the bag.
Can I choose my coffee with Atlas?
You set a roast preference and Atlas chooses the country each month. With Wolfmilk you pick the roast and get the same one every time.
